I know, I was kind of shocked by the happy, too! I think this was a nice picture of the Doctor finally coming to terms with his companion relationships (out loud, at least), so hopefully he can start articulating what he WANTS versus what he GETS, and then work on closing the gap.

Oh, how I would love to see him in therapy.
