At least I know I'm not alone... People think I'm just out of highschool or something. I don't think anyone would actually guess I'm in my 30s...
If you ever want to work with kids, it'll give you an edge. You won't look like a scary adult to them, more like a fellow "kid" who has been around awhile and knows more than they do. They'll trust you easier. :-)
I'm sure the old guy didn't mean anything by it, he was just impressed with how well you handle aging. Maybe he was even a bit jealous... ;-)
