1 - Apparently she has no professional cooking experience. The book, though inspiring (I read cookbooks like some read novels), sets my teeth on edge. Yum-o, indeed.
2 - Well, I know that the movie is an exact duplication of the comic, but having read neither the comic, nor the history of Sparta (high school classes excluded), I wasn't really sure of the accurate of either. I have to admit the Nine Inch Nails worked, but maybe that's just my bias. Xerxes reminded me of a supertranssexualized version of the Goa'uld Apophis from SG1 (I remember thinking that somebody should tell him that 2500 years later, gold nail-polish is still tacky :P)
Faramir (because he gets a header unto himself) - I do the same. It's even more fun if when its retroactive (think Dark City).
