The "Strike"

May 23, 2006 22:09

As most of you may be aware, there is currently an "Internet conflict" happening all around us. And this conflict? A dispute over the simple matter of individual choice, expression, and liberty. So yes, the webdesigner strike, a now disputed and controversial action-an action I agreed to and let take place not because of my own frustration, but ( Read more... )

I will be quoting you and adding my own notes when times comes that we end the strike. ^^ It's perhaps a lot better that you were out of town, not having to deal with all the wankage, and giving you a clearer persepective.

A did indeed agree to let Kyuu and the others go ahead with the strike. I was, however, out of town when the strike began and took no part in the creation of the strike pages or writings.

Yes, which means, if you have a problem with the strike or Aku, free to yell at me (preferably to my face), and not to Rykea.

Also, (because I forgot to mention), that is why I prefer the collective community more than the graphics; the diffusion of ideas seems to be a lot more acceptable and people are more willing to embrace people who've just started out.

Honestly, I'm not fond of the graphics community; it can be a terribly nasty place, even trying to hide in my Own Little Corner with my friends and yaoi didn't seem to work out too well.

Feel free to quote. ^~

And yes, I'll agree with you on the whole collective thing. People there seem more down-to-earth in my experience.

I had no idea there was a strike, seeing as we haven't seen each other since my prom, and you were away.

I do, however, approve. LONG LIVE HUMANITY IN ALL THINGS!!!! Also, thank you Ryk and Kyuu, for all of your tutorials, explanations, and advice. And the couple of graphics that I've used. You both are fabulous, and if I can ever equal your skills I will blame the two of you for inspiring me. *glompage*
