i'm in malaprop's right now. some awesome homeless man ran out of the store yelling free-verse. i wake up 5 or 6 times a night from people all around me. it's always either late-night dudes burning rice right outside of my window, party people coming out of the gay and latino night clubs across the street, or homeless men at the halfway-home

kinda reminds me of Hampton. We lived right down the road from the Veteran's hospital. So every day the streets were crawling with weird, old Vietnam vets that were crazy and also very sad. There was this one guy we used to call 'CCR-Runnin thru the Jungle' It's a creedence clearwater song, in case you didn't figure that out. He was great. I kinda miss CCR
