Title: The Tenth Funeral

One by one the guardians threw a lily into the grave. Gokudera went first, tears streaming down his face he moved his mouth, but he didn't make a sound with his lily he threw in a packet of cigarettes. Yamamoto was next, he was more composed than Gokudera was, having already lost his father he had cut his feelings off and had turned into a cold hearted assassin, but this had hit him close to heart and you could tell he was hurting along with the lily he threw in a baseball mitt. Chrome was third, throwing her lily in without a single word, her single eye was crying a river, and she couldn't bring herself to say anything. After Chrome was Hibari, along with throwing in his lily Hibari also threw in his School Council armband, he bowed down low to show his respect for the one opponent who he could never beat. Lambo couldn't stop wailing, he was pouring out tears and snot was coming out of his nose, he just threw his lily and the first pair of horns he was given then ran away. Ryohei calmly threw his lily in along with the pair of boxing gloves he had from his school years.
Few words were said after that, but the large crowd stood in silence for a long time. Eventually the crowd started to disperse, until only the guardians, Kyoko and Haru were left. They lingered there until nightfall, none of them wanting to be the first to leave. Chrome was the first to leave, after that the others followed suit. Only Gokudera, Haru and Kyoko were still there at the strike of midnight. Gokudera linked hands with Haru who was standing next to him and leading her away from the gravestone. Then Kyoko couldn't stand it anymore, she collapsed and just wept all night for her lost husband.

"Voi! Bel! This is your new partner!" Squalo screamed from across the hall way of the varia mansion.
Bel was not in a good mood. He couldn't get his tiara to sit properly on his head, and his black and red stripped top was in the wash so he had to wear his less favourite shirt with green and black stripes. hearing this news didn't do him any favours. "Hmmm? He Doesn't look anything like Mammon though? How can he fill in for him if he doesn't even look like him?"
"He's not trying to be Mammon voi! He's just a new member!" Squalo shouted.
Bel walked closer and examined the new member. Poking him with his knife, "He's kinda scrawny isn't he Squalo?"
"XANXUS approved of him. That's all that matter to me. Now play nice, I need a smoke." Squalo said leaving the small new member with the Prince.
"You... Look kind of boring..." Bel remarked at the boys appearance. It was sort of true, he had normal hair, nothing strange about his face and the new Varia's uniform.
"Well I'm sorry if my appearance doesn't suit your tastes Bel-senpai" The boy said with little care in his voice.
"Ushishishishi, you've got some nerve to talk back to a prince you know... What's your name?" Bel snickered, he began to imagine all of the fun games he could have with his new playmate.
"Fran."
"Fran? Ushishishishishi, that's a women’s name," Bel laughed, "Ah! I have it! Something to make you more interesting!" He said and ran off into one of the many rooms in the long corridor leaving Fran confused and alone.
A few minutes later Bel returned with an oversized frog hat. "Here, wear it." he said stretching out expecting Fran just to put it on.
"No." Fran said flatly.
"You have to wear it, because I'm a prince." Bel grinned from one ear to another.
"No! Go away!" Fran shouted struggling as Bel towered over him, there was a short struggle, But Bel came out the victor and eventually managed to fit Fran's head into the small hole that was only made for a baby.
"Ushishishishi it looks good on you," Bel's grin beamed even brighter knowing that he had won.
"What the hell!" Fran shouted sounding really worried, "This hat is so tight! It doesn't come off!"
"Ushishishishi, Well at least you look more interesting now."

Tsuna felt the heat from his flames against the side of his face. It burned, but he knew he had to endure if he was going to save his friends. He had no choice but to keep trying his hardest to make his flame stronger. And without the help of his friends he could only rely on himself, there would be no Dino coming to his rescue this time, Reborn couldn't help either, Spanner was no fighter. So it was just up to Tsuna. He felt the pressure of what he had to achieve, but he knew he could do it. It wasn't a matter of choice, he HAD to do it, if he didn't his family would die. Spanner muttered something about stopping, but Tsuna tuned it out. He couldn't afford to waste any of the time they had. Then Tsuna's head started to whirl and his vision went fuzzy.
The next thing he knew Spanner was sitting over him checking his temperature. "Oh you're awake now?" Spanner said with little care, "I told you to stop,"
"I'm fine now. I can keep going." Tsuna said determined as ever.
"No, you've got to rest, we can't have your body destroyed from training when you go up against Shouichi," The holographic image of Reborn said in his squeaky voice.
"No! We don't have any time to waste! I have to keep training!" Tsuna said sitting up, but he rushed it and he feel straight back down.
"Spanner, you should inject him with a sedative. He needs rest." Reborn suggested.
"Good idea," Spanner said looking threw one of his many toolboxes lying around the messy training room.
"Hey! You can't do this! I can still train! I'm fine! Look!" Tsuna said trying to make another attempt to sit up, he'd learned from his previous experience so he took it slowly.
"Ah! Found it!" Spanner proclaimed completely ignoring what Tsuna had said.
"Hey you can't do this!" Tsuna shouted while Spanner held him down and injected the syringe into him, "Stop! No... You... Can't.. Stop..." Tsuna's shouting slowly stopped and he was in a deep sleep.
"Man that kid really likes to train..." Spanner sighed.
