i found this review of easy tiger tonight linked from RA's wikipedia page. it's pretty scathing, and i think unfair and unnecessarily mean (the discussion comments at the bottom are interesting, too). i'd like to hear what you guys have to say about it.

read it.

I think it's more of a personal attack than a legit review.

And LOL at comparing him to Spiderman. Random, much?

definitely. like the reviewer's girlfriend broke up with him cause she loved ryan's music so he's trying to get back at ryan or something.

and yeah he was definitely grasping for straws at the end there.

that's exactly what i was going to say.

i mean, i was disappointed when i heard the leak. i'm definitely in the very few who thought it was going to be way better, i guess. i've had a few negative things to say about it myself, but that review was absolutely ridiculous.

Ryan would probably prefer being Batman.

I couldn't read all the discussion afterward, too boring (sorry if you were in on it!) but I wonder, what the hell is are "heartbreaking inflictions"? That made me laugh...

Eh, it's just silly. Why call him David Ryan Adams throughout the whole review? Should we start referring to Elvis Costello as Declan Patrick MacManus from now on? And to "summon it all up." Ha.

It doesn't bother me that RA got a bad review (I'm sure there are those out there), but it's just such a poorly-written review.

Oh god, I missed the "summon it all up" part. The reviewer is obviously not a brilliant person.

I think he was trying to be poignant by calling Ryan by his full name. He failed, of course.
