On Friday, Mike and I--possibly taking a joke too far--rented Catwoman and Elektra.

It's possible that I am getting less critical in my old age, but these movies didn't seem as bad as I was expecting. They were weak, but they weren't painfully bad.

I saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on Friday. Mental note to self, opening day for a kids movie is not the best of calls.

Short review: Pretty good, not as good as 3, but better than 1 and 2.

Pandora is pretty neat. You enter a band or song, and it starts playing music similar to the band/song you mentioned. Seems pretty accurate actually, judging by my Evanescence test. It's a neat way to find new music.

I like the name as well. It is fitting.

Transporter 2 is an fantastic movie. It is the best action movie of year (not that it has much competition). It sneers at such encumberances as physics, logic, or common sense, opting instead for pure and awesome style ( Read more... )
