I don't think this essay is particularly good, but it was marked highly and it's the last one at this level and of its kind I am likely ever to write.

Oh, up and down. It's been a challenging year, but not without some good moments. I still keep my blog semi-regularly updated here, if you're interested in the gory details. Shansu-kitty is still doing well; I posted a pic of her fairly recently not-exactly-modelling a knitted sweater I made for her. (She seemed so keen on my sweaters that I thought she should have one of her own. She disagreed.)
