Isn't that cool? I'm tres impressed. I had to watch it three times so I could fully appreciate both the pop up story and the girl turning the pages. :)

I love her smile. It's impish yet innocent.

Very cool.

ETA: I wonder who made the books?

It took so much work! I've seen how-to's about making pop-up books, and it's definitely an intense labor of love. It must have even taken a lot of practice to turn the pages so gracefully and at the right times.

Hee, your icon!

I know. She turned the pages so fluidly. She has pretty hands.

I went on a Rob Pattinson icon spree. It was unintentional--you know how you click on something, which leads to more clicking, etc.--and I have five new icons. This makes me happy, even though I'm now out of icon space.

Love the wrestling pandas - so cute!

Hope your "D" key issues get straightened out. There are lots of really good, and necessary words out there which include the letter "D"!

Yes, there are. Rusty'og and 'eaver just don't have the same feel! :)

You know, if worse comes to worse, I think keyboards are relatively cheap. I've even seen 'em at thrift stores now and then!

I don't think I could replace the keyboard on my Pidge quite so easily. :( But now that you mention it, if I really have to, I bet I could find a keyboard with a USB connection and plug it into my laptop. It would be clunky, but for situations where I need to type a lot, much better than not having a letter!

Doesn't Pidge have a USB port? I think you copied stuff off of my flash drive, so she must. Most keyboards these days are either USB (if wired) or Bluetooth (if wireless). You could probably get a USB keyboard for under 20 bucks.

You're much better off than my dad, at any rate, as he has completely lost the "4" button functionality on his cell phone. If he ever wants to talk to anybody with a 4 in their number, they have to call him first so he can save the number in his phone.

I had thought about resorting to a USB keyboard if I need to, but I thought they would be more expensive. That's good news!

Not for your dad, though! Hee. It sounds like when his contract is up, a new phone might be in order. "I'm sorry I couldn't call you. Your number has a 4 in it."

Oh, but his contract *is* up. He's very committed to his very old phone and may or may not be irrationally committed to the idea that his next phone will be an iPhone, too. Even though he's not on the right carrier for that, and refuses to ever switch carriers. (But he also won't sign a new contract with the carrier which he's certain he won't ever want to leave.) It's so irrational! I've told him I'll help him pick out a new phone. He knows how to reach me (and can, since my number is programmed in his phone--good thing, since I have two 4's!).

Your keyboard situation is downright simple in comparison. :)
