I don't think I knew you had a horse. ::is hugely envious:: And if you can refrain from naming a puppy, stray or otherwise, you're a better (wo)man than I, Gunga Din.

Well, technically my niece has a horse, but she's not very interested in it, and my parents keep it (her, it's 20-year-old mare) at their place, which I refer to as "the farm" in my journal. I'm visiting them right now, so I'm the one doing the horse chores. Since I *like* the horse chores. :) (::points at icon:: There she is, wearing my Doctor Who scarf as an emergency halter and lead.)

I think I'm lucky it takes me forever to come up with the perfect name for anything - otherwise the puppy and her mom would have had names weeks ago!

stray puppy is not your puppy. repeat 3x. Do not go pet stray puppy or slip it treats. Puppy can not go home with you. Even if he is cute. Very cute. dang, not helping here, am I?

My dad really wants the dogs gone, but it turns out the shelter won't have any space until at least January. So they're staying longer! ::pets puppy::

Wasn't the Pete's Dragon reference the best? I LOVED that movie as a kid.

Must. refrain. from naming. stray puppy.
AHAHAHA. Good luck with that one. *snerk*

I own the DVD of Pete's Dragon! It's a huge nostalgia movie for me, as I'm sure it is for you. ::loves all of it::

I'm doing pretty well not naming the puppy - it's taking a little bit of willpower, but I know it would make it harder when she has to go away. :(
