Fresh air (Coffee, radio, Naoko Mori)

It's been an utterly lovely day. I am deeply empty and lonely but it's not the kind of lonely that wants company, or the kind of empty that wants filling, if you know what I mean. It's the kind of day when I can look at something mundane as the cold wax at the bottom of my lava lamp and feel very emotional about the shape of the wax. It's the kind ( Read more... )

coffee, weather, torchwood, teaching, health, radio

For two months, police in full camouflage hid in the woods and staked out spots in unmarked cars along Union Street, Keyser Avenue and near Stauffer Industrial Park.
That is either the definition of dedication or obsession; I'm not sure which.

There's a really cracking, brilliant episode coming up toward the end of the season where you get to find out a lot more about how we came to be in Torchwood.

I'm glad she liked that episode, that it wasn't too hard for her

What would you like to see happen to Toshiko in the future, in a third series?
I would like Tosh to grow, and keep on growing.

It was an... interesting interview in those regards, wasn't it, with hindsight. There was another tiny bit that was (unintentionally) even tougher, I thought. ::shares tissue box::

Maybe they should just release a "Torchwood Tunes" album. I'd pay good money for that.

(And I didn't know that she and John Barrowman were in Miss Saigon together! That's so cool!)

I would pay good money for it too! I wouldn't even wait for it to be on sale. Dude.

They hid in the bushes to catch a man throwing cat litter? I have no words! Does this even come close do you think?

Interesting. Hmm, I think the kitty litter one is a little disturbing (just because they're spending time on it) and a lot ridiculous, while the school catchment surveillance one is a little ridiculous and a lot disturbing!

Very disturbing - especially since they were acting on a 'tip off'!

It's the kind of day when I can look at something mundane as the cold wax at the bottom of my lava lamp and feel very emotional about the shape of the wax. It's the kind of day when organizing my thoughts well enough to decide which pot to plant the poppy seeds in is a challenge. Oh brain chemicals, you are so wacky.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean.

"Weevil Rock You," like the Queen song, or "Let's Go to the Hub"

Bwahaha. I love love this.

Aren't those a couple of great images? Oh, to be a mouse in the rafters of the Torchwood set.

I know exactly what you mean.

::squeezes your hand:: Nice to not be alone. :)
