There's some kind of "open house" event on campus this weekend, and of course, impending visitors have caused Maintenance to realize they should clean some stuff. Like the fountain pool outside my building. The one with the goldfish. When I walked past just now, the pool was almost empty, a man was spraying it with a hose, and there were no fish to

No sign of them back yet. I try not to get too happy about little things like those fish, because when they go away for unnatural reasons it tends to damage my faith in the universe... but on the other hand, the more they survive, the more it gives me hope. It's a risk, I guess, one I have completely failed to avoid in this case. I'll let you know!
