This is the weirdest one. It just showed up in the fountain pool a few weeks ago. Nothing like the others, clearly an ornamental breed, can't even swim very fast, mostly just wriggle in the water. I didn't think it would survive long, but it seems to have adapted. Cute thing. It's missing its eye on the left side.

There's some kind of "open house" event on campus this weekend, and of course, impending visitors have caused Maintenance to realize they should clean some stuff. I haven't updated recently about the books for the Middle School, so here's what's going on: response was wonderful! Of the books that were sent via my address or my parents', I estimate we gathered more than 350 books. I had a look at them all, and people chose wonderful books!
