Good Things Come in Small Packages

Last Sunday, my sister gave me a little puppy figurine to add to my action figure collection, so I thought it was high time that I introduced this newest member to my warped menagerie. ( I know there are more productive ways I could be using my time. I just choose not to pursue them. )

action figures, primeval, sga

Very cute dogs and cat. :) And of course a funny story. :)
Speaking of iPod Touch (or iPhone) - I have been thinking about posting about the free e-book apps for the IOS, I just never got round to actually doing it. In any case, I have found two different apps that include all the Sherlock Holmes stories, not to mention all kinds of other free classics for iBooks, Kobo and a couple of others. I'm sure you've found many of them already, but if not, it's easy to search for more.

Oh, thank you, crimsoncorundum! I'm glad you got a kick out of the story and thought the animals were cute! :-)

Well, I'd certainly read that entry most eagerly if you did post it. Hell, I'll rec it here as I'm sure there are people on my flist who would be interested. Well, jackycomelately at least. *g*

I have a feeling that jackycomelately might have installed most of the available apps, but I'll send you a PM and let you know what's on the iPod already. And I'm delighted to say that jackycomelately had actually downloaded some Sherlock Holmes stories already! Okay, I'll admit that it was my brother who found ( ... )

Hee, hee, hee! I thought you might approve! :-D

Awwww...Kiki is adorable! Is she a Scottish terrier?

I'm pretty sure that Kiki is some kind of terrier, though I'm not sure if it's Scottish. She does look like a Scottish terrier, so I'm sure you're right.

Poor Rodney! His attitude toward his pets was such a classic canon moment.

I know. I felt kind of bad about poor Rodney, but I just couldn't resist referring to "Letters From Pegasus". That story about his dog is gold. *g*

I'm not touching the cat/dog debate. I just know that way badness lies!

Uh, yeah. I can imagine the results of such a debate and they aren't pretty. *g*

"Archer was peeking around one of the legs of rusty_armour's futon with a look of deep longing in his eyes." Okay, apparently I have a thing for peeking, but that is such a hilarious image.Unfortunately, I accidentally revealed my hand (You can see my index finger if you look at the image closely), but the picture turned out surprisingly well despite the boo-boo. Haha brilliant-you should post more of these!

(Is it un-pc to say Eskimo? I've never heard that it was and would still use it!)

Thank you kindly, boobamiaow! I'm happy you enjoyed it! :-) I don't know if you saw it when it was posted, but I wrote an action figure fic recently for jackycomelately's birthday called Fall Out Boy Fall Out. You might find it amusing...or possibly just strange and disturbing. *g*

(Is it un-pc to say Eskimo? I've never heard that it was and would still use it!)

Well, it's definitely not PC in Canada. Let me do a quick check to see what I can find... *Quick check ensues* Okay, you're fine. According to what I found, it's basically within Canada and Greenland that "Eskimo" is considered to be politically incorrect. If most Brits use the word "Eskimo" then it shouldn't be a problem.

Awww that figurine is so cute :) I have a weird little collection of china bits and pieces back at my parents house thanks to my grandma. Here, we have a collection of Mr Potato Head, which all belong to Anthony. They're a lot of fun to buy for him :)

Oh, thank you! I'll be sure to let my sister know you think so! :-)

That sounds familiar. I know we used to have some tiny figurines that belonged to my grandma, though I'm not sure if they're still around.

Here, we have a collection of Mr Potato Head, which all belong to Anthony. They're a lot of fun to buy for him :)

Well, it's hard to go wrong with Mr. Potato Head! I'm glad you both have fun with that collection! :-)
