Last Sunday, my sister gave me a little puppy figurine to add to my action figure collection, so I thought it was high time that I introduced this newest member to my warped menagerie. (
I know there are more productive ways I could be using my time. I just choose not to pursue them. )
Hee, hee, hee! I thought you might approve! :-D
Awwww...Kiki is adorable! Is she a Scottish terrier?
I'm pretty sure that Kiki is some kind of terrier, though I'm not sure if it's Scottish. She does look like a Scottish terrier, so I'm sure you're right.
Poor Rodney! His attitude toward his pets was such a classic canon moment.
I know. I felt kind of bad about poor Rodney, but I just couldn't resist referring to "Letters From Pegasus". That story about his dog is gold. *g*
I'm not touching the cat/dog debate. I just know that way badness lies!
Uh, yeah. I can imagine the results of such a debate and they aren't pretty. *g*
"Archer was peeking around one of the legs of rusty_armour's futon with a look of deep longing in his eyes." Okay, apparently I have a thing for peeking, but that is such a hilarious image.
Unfortunately, I accidentally revealed my hand (You can see my index finger if you look at the image closely), but the picture turned out surprisingly well despite the boo-boo. And I think you might actually be to blame for Peeking!Archer as I'm pretty sure I was thinking of that SGA comic strip you have on your iPod -- specifically the panel with McKay peeking around the corner as Zelenka is talking. *g*
Once again I can never get over how expressive you make them. Emo!Archer.
I wish I could take some credit for that, but I don't do anything to make them that way. Okay, a certain amount of posing helps, along with camera angles, but that's all I do. So, really, it's just dumb luck most of the time. *g*
I howled at the photograph of Archer stumping away with Kiki as fast as his plastic legs would carry him. That couldn't have been an easy scene to set up.
I have to admit that I can't look at that without cracking up. And it wasn't so much a challenge setting it up as trying to get a picture in which Archer actually looks as if he's running. Well, okay, that didn't really happen. After several attempts, the picture you see is the closest I could get to that. *g*
I also love the frozen suspended fight with Kiki staring up at us/Lester. Too too funny.
That was actually pretty easy to set up and the picture turned out better than I could have ever hoped. :-)
I look forward to the continuing adventures of Kiki! Golly, she hasn't even met the Giant Hand yet! Or, you know, the Other Giant Hand!
You're a very brave woman. *g* Well, I'm sure poor Kiki will have more adventures and, no doubt, she will meet one or both of the Giant Hands.
I'm so glad that you are enjoying the new toy!
Yes, I've been enjoying the new toy a lot, though I haven't had as much time with it this week as I would like. I'll have to try to make up for that tomorrow.
And that it entertained your family! I really rely on mine when I'm visiting family without internet. Luckily your family is better equipped!
Oh, it was a real hit with the whole family. I'm embarrassed to confess that I couldn't figure out how to connect to the internet, even though my parents have wireless. I'll have to do some research on that. Fortunately, the fic I downloaded was from my own computer (before I left).
If you are adding fic it sounds like you are well on the way to figuring out all the bells and whistles which is awesome.
Well, you gave me excellent instructions on how to download fic through iTunes, so I had no trouble when the time came to upload some stories. And, yes, I did figure out some things on my own. Mostly. My brother may have given me some pointers as well because he's infuriating that way.
Have you checked out the SketchBookX app on it? With your interest in drawing you might enjoy it. I just doodle in it basically.
Actually, it was my mom who came across the SketchBookX app (Probably not a surprise as you're both the same person *g*) and she had a ton of fun playing with it. In fact, she went back for more because she enjoyed it so much.
