worldize.
that was a word that i came across
in one of a sound editing book.
it's the process of adding some presence/room tone/ambience
to an otherwise silent/dead sound,
by possibly playing it through speakers and
recording it again.
interesting.
it seems like passing a clean sheet of cloth
through murky water,
and you get somewhat closer to reality.
