I have a 5k on May 18th, so my goal in the next 2 weeks is to start doing more intervals and get more than 2.5 miles which is all I've done at one time lately.

Good luck with the 5k! If you can do 2.5 miles, you can definitely do a 5k. Intervals are good, but for 5k another thing to consider is to do a mile at a harder pace, then walk for a while to recover and then do another faster mile.

The tendinitis in both hips is what's messing with me. The pain radiates to my lower back all the time. I'm doing my mobility and pt stuff but it's just taking its time healing.
