How can I keep my photo memories safe???....

I have made this a separate public post. What do you suggest regarding safe-keeping photos. Do you suggest :

1. copy on USB
2. copy on disk
3. copy on third party, ie. Photobucket
4. fireproof box

Probably Third Party - a paid service that GUARANTEES storage, and gives you a lot of it?

Also, maybe even a 1TB RAID mirrored external Hard Drive? Always has a backup of itself, and portable enough to grab in case of an emergency.... They are SO cheap these days! :-)

For really important photos? I would say all 4. Better yet, #5: make wonderful copies into a photo book and distribute to as many wide-flung family as possible!!

I never trust copies on disks. I use an external hard drive and I add my favorites to photobucket, just in case. Memory is so cheap these days, you can buy something affordable and keep all the photos you want. I bought a 500 gig external hard drive and it's my lifeboat for all photos.
