“Lyssa, she is absolutely beautiful.”
“Are you and I looking at the same kid?”
“Come again?”
“She’s all kind of purplish, and her head is… well… pointy.”
“You go through what she just did and see how bent out of shape you find yourself.”
“I’d, uh, rather not think about what she just did.”
“Nor I. But will you just look at those eyes? Did you ever see such eyes?”
“All right, those eyes are something. What do you suppose she’s thinking?”
“She is looking at you, so nothing good.”
