Well, Kairn lived up to his name.

That he did! I swear the more I write him, the more heroic he insists on being...not that it ever goes well for him, but he tries.

Thanks! :)

It's getting good and Kairn doesn't need
to die now! So the goddess was a cat?
(or in a cat form?)

I'll have to try my best to follow this up before long.

The goddess spent the last 300 years stuck inside an ordinary cat just like she was in Kairn here.

Thanks! :)

Yikes! That was a brutal fight - well-done. :)

Is this why Kairn is called Godslayer in the prophecy? But surely just killing that body doesn't kill the goddess herself, right?

Thank you! :)

Yes and no? Kairn's label potentially has multiple interpretations, this being one of them. And you're right, neither goddess is dead, but they don't have bodies to control for now either.

OMG, Kairn!!

this is a rad piece! I would have thought a scene like this (using Kairn's POV while he's being controlled) would be difficult to write, but this comes together rather seamlessly-fast-paced and easy to follow. love it!

Thank you! :)

It was actually pretty hard (or maybe not? it did come out pretty fast)especially trying to figure out what names or pronouns I should be using.
