Good for Aija, standing up for herself in such a poised manner. People making assumptions is one of my biggest berserk buttons, and probably one of hers as well. The dialogue in this piece--especially Aija's monologue near the end--was great, and you did a good job contrasting M'Kya and Aija with their manners of speaking. Nicely done!

Thank you so much! It's so sad, the stereotyping in life these days and sometimes, somebody has to set somebody else straight to let them know it's not always that way. Aija has just seen and heard enough of that to last her a lifetime.
