lmao My response to Vincent's initial speech was pretty much exactly the same as Hobbie's, and then Vincent's comeback about Hobbie being just as weird was perfect. Also, I am rather creeped out by Hobbie's taste in books as well, particularly the last one.

I had way too much fun researching those books. Hobbie has some weird tastes. I think he actually also has more normal stuff as well, a lot of historical nonfiction, but that wouldn't have been as fun to talk about.

I think I really enjoy Vincent and Hobbie.

LMAO! I'm really not sure which of them is the most weird. Though Hobbie has this kind of calm, controlled, psycho weird thing going on for him that Vincent can't quite match, so he gets bonus points for that ;)

Yeah, Vincent can't keep the weirdness to himself because he's always saying what comes to his mind and Hobbie can come of as relatively normal (at least I like to believe that).

I had to change the subject after that original question because I have no idea how Hobbie would answer. Although I have to admit that the question originated from me wondering the same thing. This is a song my mom used to sing to us when we were kids and I recently remembered it and started wondering. Maybe they actually say Zeus instead of God in the original song, I have no idea XD

I'm sure he also reads normal stuff but there'd be no fun in having those books lying around. I think I really like the Vincent and Hobbie dynamic. I wasn't expecting to.

Glad to see you poking your head back in a bit! I've been around reading and commenting a little. But I'm in the middle of a manuscript revision slog so my other writing has taken a backseat. But I'm like 1/3 done there so...soon!

Vincent's the weird kid, so I really love hi more than I should. I like pitting him against people who he either makes uncomfortable or who make him uncomfortable.
