So, these two aren't anything exciting, but they kind of had to be there. They're part of what took me so long to get day 1 done.

I've had quite a few share of math tests like Kairn's so I felt his pain. Love your description of Lyssa.

Oh, I definitely want to see more of HS Lyssa, though she seems mayyybe a bit outside Kairn and co's social strata, haha. Love the descriptions!

And I can so feel Kairn's self-esteem slipping in the second piece. Though maybe he's just used to Sethan and Reida outperforming him in the math department? Still no fun to have a test go like that :P

Lyssa is definitely outside Kairn's circle, but there will be more of her! Sethan, Kairn & Reida are the focus though.

Kairn wouldn't be Kairn if Sethan and Reida weren't showing him up. I think he does alright for himself most of the time, but math is not his friend.

I remember a few tests like that, both in math and in other classes (mostly chemistry).

Lyssa does seem way out of Kairn's leagu but then if she didn't, there would be no fun to this, would there? And it's so familar to see Reida and Sethan being better than Kairn.

I think for me it was physics that had the wtf is this? tests

I tried to keep everyone fairly well in character, glad the dynamics are working.

LOL Kairn sure didn't fall asleep during English! Looks like Reida's warning was unnecessary.

It sort of surprises me that Sethan is a terrible study buddy, but I guess he doesn't need to do that much of it.

lol way too busy checking Lyssa out to snooze

if Sethan doesn't need to study, he's probably not going to waste much time going over it for someone else, he'd much rather talk him into doing other things instead
