They work quite well together which surprises me because of how businesslike Firebird was about the marriage when she was picking Aaron out. I can understand poor Aaron though. This is not a time to wake up, not even on Christmas!

LOL! When my brothers and I were kids, my parents had a very strict "No Christmas until after five a.m." rule. Now that we're 16, 19, and 23, that rule has relaxed a great deal. All the way to 6:30! XD

This is six years into Firebird and Aaron's marriage. They had a really rocky start but as time went on they found that their personalities really meshed and it grew from there. I like to think that these two fell in love in spite of themselves. ;)

I like Aaron's and Firebird's relationship. They seemed to have settled into a nice understanding but yeah, Christmas morning is so not the time to have sex, especially when you have kids.

Aaron and Firebird have a love that came around Because theyd built a life together, not the other way around. I think this is the most settled that Firebird ever gets. Thanks for reading!

Definitely an Aaron sympathizer here: I refused to wake up before 9am this Christmas, despite my younger sister's constant nagging that I should get out of bed. On the other hand, I can understand Firebird: it is Christmas :)
I also love their relationship. You characterized both of them so well in this small little extract!
