Poor Verity. They're just friends, sweetheart! They're friends who sit around and make fun of movies and hit each other with pillows. *hugs her* I hope she manages to find that sort of relationship with Ashdown or somebody, because everybody needs a friend like that. I feel so bad for her here. Great job.

I also feel bad for Verity...she's so on the outside looking in :/ I can see her maybe being a little jealous of their close bond even if she knew there was nothing romantic going on. Ashdown seems to be a bit clueless to all of this, of course!

Very interesting! Verity is both sympathetic and not here, which is tricky to pull off well, but you did with aplomb.

I also love Ashdown and Pia's easy friendship. It seems sweet. :)

Nice work!

I like how you gave us both sides, as other people have said. I don't always like Verity but I find I can often see her side of the story and that makes me feel for her, either good or bad. She's a really sympathetic character a lot of the time but her ways of dealing with it are not in the slightest a lot of the time :P Also, want to see even more Pia and Ashdown!
