It looks like our garden worked out really well this year, my pumpkins are so big! That just means it's time to make some lovely pies and bread. Yum!

Have I said how much I dislike summer? I don't think I have. Everything just melts, splits and it makes everything five times harder to do! Good thing it's almost over...I know I shouldn't complain so much but it's very frusterating..and on top of that I twisted my ankle. Lovely.

So it looks like we'll be closing the bakery for a week. The increase in temperatures is making it really hard to make things and father thought it'd be a great idea to use this chance to take a break. He does work year round, but still..it's annoying to close the bakery..>_<

What to do, what to do~

I don't care about having turned another year older today. After all, chocolate cake is more important than your age.

...I saw him!!!! Matsumoto Hayato! He CAME INTO OUR SHOP...Thank the heavens I wasn't the one working the front or else I would have messed up or something! I've been kicked out of the bakery for a few days...Mom and Dad says I need a break...>_< I don't think so! ...Now I have no clue what to do with all this free time. I guess I can hang out with Reina-chan and the gang..it sure has been a while~

I've had no energy to even write anything in this diary...With all these new customers that we've been getting..thanks in good part because of the festivities we've had to run around even more to finish all the orders. Dads been thinking about hiring one or two people to help out with the baking..I'm not so sure about that ( Read more... )

Opening up this special stand was the best idea we could have had! It's a great way to get new customers and  we've been selling pretty well. Everyone just loves sweets don't they?

The ladies seem to be enjoying getting the gum paste flower I've been making with their orders. Just a nice touch of spring to add....Making them is tedious but fun. ^__^

I keep forgetting where I leave this quill.
