Ugh, those articles made me SO MAD. Whenever Iker was not at his best, they blamed Sara but when he played like he did against Germany or today, nobody mentioned her. In theory, if she's to blame when he's not playing well, she should be responsible as well when he's doing a good job, but no, they want her to be the Yoko Ono of the Spanish national team.

There was one particular article written by the head of some organization of Spanish journalists (can't remember what it's called atm and I've decided to forget his name, since he proved to be an awful journalist) that said really horrible things about Sara, without actual arguments or proof. The thing is, the dude who wrote it is the father of Sara's former boss. Sara was super diplomatic and didn't make any comments about the whole thing, which won her a lot of points in my view because she's basically in a position of damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't, so staying out of this mess and doing her job was the best thing she could do. And she's good at her job. She's a professional
