I wish I had the money to donate, and the means of transport to attend the wake. I will be raising my voice in song at Anthrocon this coming summer in tribute to him though, as it's because of him I lead sing-alongs in the first place.
Furries really don't have any sort of social sense at all, do they? Do you people even realize how downright not cool for people he never even fucking met to go to such a private thing as a funeral?
And on top of that, I bet anyone who thinks this is okay, also thinks it would be chill to do so in a fursuit or something, which is so downright disrespectful and, well, there's really not any words that can describe how fucked up even the idea is. His family may be some crackhead trailer-trash (from everything I've ever heard, including from his mouth,) but I think they're more dignified than basically any of you guys.

The wake would be for FRIENDS. People he had met while he was still here with us. People who knew him and cared about him. Not for random people to show up to.

First off, there was no funeral - he was cremated. Secondly, NO ONE showed up in a fursuit. NO ONE was drunk, high, or in ANYWAY disrespectful. Of the SEVERAL DOZEN in attendance, the FAMILY was extremely appreciative and asked EVERYONE to sign a poster with his photograph. People showed up in formal and business-casual attire. People like YOU are the reasons people like me have no patience for the closed-minded
