A Cunning Plan

So, I've noticed a tendency in myself to wait until nearly the last minute to get school stuff done. This bit me in the ass hard this past spring, and I paid with a C in Calc II. Over the summer, it wasn't as bad, but there was still the stress that comes from saying, "I have plenty of time. It'll get done." And I do get it done, but I get ( Read more... )

Great idea! And your Ed teachers would be proud! You'll have to keep us posted on how well this works!

Suggestion: foot massage/pedicure. Especially if you're going to be running around and around all the time. Pamper those feet! :)

+0.5? Fractions bad. Double all numbers to get rid of that one instance.

I'm a bit < insert appropriate word here > that attending class is a point. Though it is desirable behavior, it's something you already do, and something you should do anyway. It's like giving up hitting yourself with a hammer for Lent. I guess I like the idea if that sort of thing works for you, but to me it seems you have made it too easy to get points.

Actually, last semester, I missed A LOT of class and that was half my problem. It is something I should do, like the other things on the list, but as I don't do it every day, like I should, I need to make it part of the points.

The 1/2 points essentially underlie the major behavior I want to cultivate and that is getting things done AHEAD of time. Marking something of that day's to-do list is not as desirable as getting it done early.
