Had a lovely New Year weekend with Mum staying. We blitzed out kitchen (what started out as simply tidying out one cupboard lefd to major re-tidying of all cupboards apart from the crockery ones!). So off to a good start was I, ditching all caffeine (Hah!), vaguely thinking I shouldn't drink alcohol during the week, get an early night, drink more water and eat less... (Hmmm, I'm sure I posted somewhere about doing one change at a time...) when Wednesday night comes along, and I've gone and drunk more than a bottle of wine (at a friends house), and eaten too many nibbles as well. Despite all the willpower at work to stay off the calories, once I'd had a few, willpower disappeared into a corner to hide somewhere.
It wouldn't have been so bad, but Tuesday night I had a couple of small G&T's, and stayed up til stupid-o'clock in the morning, and was none too awake at work today. As long as I go to bed within the next 15 minutes, I'm sure I'll be fine getting up at 7.30 ish... Still, we've all agreed that Center Parcs sounds like a lovely idea, and we are planning a ( ... )
