Anyway, to continue on my entry about debate.

So yesterday, third round after I was feeling better we had the most ridiculous silly debate ever. So so much fun. Quotes (note these were all DURING round):

Desi: From our 1AC...WAIT JUST KIDDING I MEANT 2AC!

Me: *reading DADT neg cards in 1NC* Homosexuals contract HIV at a rate thousands of times ....

good job to everyone else too!

aly and i were sort of afraid the debaters would upstage theater, but we realized that we have much more pizazz and that it would be okay. but then we realized that because he is a thespian, joe has a lot of pizazz too.
but we came to the conclusion that our collective pizazz is at a higher concentration than the collective pizazz of debaters.

but i don't think you get to say theatre is cooler than debate,

because we get to swear at teachers

and be really caffeinated

and make fun of the new trier kids ("do you have no-calorie frappuccinos?" - one of them actually asked the concessions people that)

and push desks down the hallway really fast and then surf on them

at 10:30 at night.

so pretty much there is no way you are cooler

as cool, perhaps.

but not cooler.
