Nature post... and other assorted things...

I haven't had much time to get outside, unfortunately, and now I've got tendonitis in my hip flexor and I am supposed to be resting it for a week, so I am annoyed because it's been raining and I want to look for mushrooms. Oh, well.

I only have a few things from my last walk, but some of them are pretty cool, and one I had NEVER seen before!

Nice fungi *^^*

But noooooooooooo... I am unreasonably attracted to a skinny, drug-addicted, alcoholic Irish vampire who smokes attic insulation and gets angels naked in hot tubs snorting coke and is by far the funniest character I've seen in a very long time.

He really is attractive, I don't blame you :333

I bet those moths wander around saying things like "Hey baby, come and rub the scales off my wings" to attract a mate. Hmmm, I might use that line, see if it works...

You've got hipsters in the office? You need to keep a grip on that situation otherwise they'll get into the walls and breed.

Haha, that guy you like, I know of him. He's from Chorley in Lancashire, and he's been in loads of TV stuff here. He's actually quite a good actor, so that's good.

You really ought to watch an episode or two of the show just to appreciate how fucking perfect this casting job is. Cassidy is one of the best comic characters ever and he does it so well... plus I think you'd like the show. No previous comic knowledge relevant... the entire first season had nothing to do with them.

I would not appreciate having any of my body parts rubbed off but perhaps that is a bit of innuendo that might attract the tight girl. Or the wrong one.

Tight girl... That is one HELL of a typo, hahaha.

Fuck autocorrect. It is a terrible thing. Especially since I'm learning Spanish so it is totally confused. But I type "fuck autocorrect" so often that if I type "fuck" my phone will helpfully suggest "autocorrect" as the next word.

Absolutely, totally fantastic nature post!
Every item is something exceptional and oh so exciting! This leopard moth - so big and hairy and I LOVE moths but here I see them rarely and never such big ones!
And the mushrooms! Ganoderma is number one - really, very special and colourful and it looks like not from our Earth...and very artistic too.
You do lovely decorated bottles and jars, you can use them yourself but I would be also a nice present! And the fidget cube - exactly for you.I noticed that teenagers are crazy about a fidget spinners, they are obssessed with these.
Hahahaha, that preacher - hahaha!
Oh dear, cats in the box - aren´t they adorable?

I don't think Loki was very happy that Nova decided to join her in the box, but they look cozy enough ( ... )

They are amazing! By the time you find them on your porch because they came to the light, they usually look a bit rough...

Whoooeee. A Ruby post.... oh my. Those funghi... and the conks look like a climbing wall you can practice on. and the spilling sunny-side-up egg.... brilliant! and aren't they lovely to feel. Oh Ruby I WISH I could come with you, you find such super stuff. Bear corn, it looks really crunchy and super, do bears eat the seeds (if you have bears, or do other creatures munch?) I felt all funny looking at those little hooves... made my tum turn...how odd. eeeek ( ... )

I don't think bears eat it... it doesn't look like there is much of it to eat except some hard little seeds.

Funny you don't mind looking at all the skeletons but you're unsettled by the hooves? They do sort of look a bit more like they belong to something alive, I suppose...

Honey is quite used to my little obsessions, ever since I finally explained to him a long time ago what I was always typing away at on the computer and would never let him see... not that he's ever read any of it, but he knows how I am with things getting lodged in my brain. And it's been a long time since I had any thoughts of writing anything smutty... not since I quit writing the last batch of stuff forever ago...

And I don't know that I need to feed my Honey onions to get him interested... we seem to have a very healthy "intimate" life considering that he is on a different schedule than me three weeks out of four. We make time for it!
