Oh, dear... Hmm, I'm sure there are some places. Although I would rather give you one of my own jackets then going back out there. [ Have a slight laugh. ]

You could just freeze to death.

Freezing to death when there are options to not do so, would be illogical. [Apparently all they had in common were pointy ears and not logic.]

The planet I was from is a desert planet, so you are correct in assuming such.

Yes, and the place on Earth where I stayed during my training and education Starfleet was not as warm in the winter as I would have hoped. When I was transferred to a ship, I did not bring cold weather clothing as I can keep my quarters to a suitable temperature.

I don't know of any particular shop, but the library should have sufficient tomes with instruction on how to make clothing. After that, you need only raid one of the tailor shops.

[When in doubt, leave them with enough instruction to figure it out.]

Yes, I have looked through two, but I am not skilled at such a craft. [So its not that he can't figure it out, its just he wouldn't be fantastic about it. Easier to ask if there was a store that sold clothing.]

Ah! [All perfectly understandable.] In that case... I don't know of any one shop, but you'd be best off checking the district south of the church. It has one of the higher concentration of clothing shops that I've seen so far.

I will do so then. I believe I also have someone offering to make me an article of clothing, which would be of help. [The way he doesn't move, if he was a Human, would probably indicate he didn't want to leave the warmth of his blanket.]
