I wouldn't advise it... Wouldn't that mean going outside? Anything you could brace against them from inside probably wouldn't hold them for long... You ought to get upstairs, preferably with whatever provisions you can get up there to last you a while.

Where I come from, garlic and silver bullets only work in stories. Myths passed down among certain tribes speak of vampires with few to no weaknesses. It's a very fascinating subject to study.

...And that stuff works on vampires, not zombies. [And it's probably not even going to kill them so much as induce a mild to moderate allergic reaction.] Although I guess silver bullets would work as well as any other kind.
