[The video feed is blurry at first, as the watch and the person holding it are both very obviously in motion. Anybody who knows the layout of the library might recognize that as being the location on display as 202 paces for a few moments more in front of one of the battered old armchairs that can be found therein. Finally she comes to a halt and

He wasn't? That's...weird.
[He doesn't want to jump to conclusions either, but he's been getting pretty sick of people vanishing so abruptly on him.]
I'll keep an eye out for him, okay? My turn on patrol anyway.

[202 nods, frowning in her confusion, but her expression softens after a moment.]
Thank you, Sieg, I appreciate that... Don't be too shy to get in touch if you need me for anything else, all right? I never mind helping you.

Yer welcome, 202. And I sure will.

I'll keep you posted, then.

Switzerland's gone? But... but... Vash, he can't be gone! He wouldn't leave without saying goodbye! He wouldn't! And even if he would he wouldn't leave his weapons behind!

He's not gone, I'm sure of it... You're precisely right in your observation about his weaponry.
[That's the one real shred of hope 202's clinging to as well, but it wouldn't do to let on about that. It would probably only upset this poor boy further. Instead, she squares her jaw and tries her best to look reassuring.]
If they're here, so is he. And if he's here, I'll find him. It's as simple as that-- Don't worry.

Ve~ You think so? [A glimmer of hope joins the panic in his brown eyes, 202's confidence does wonders to instill some in him as well. He nods.] Yes, he must be here! We'll find him!
[He takes a deep breath and gathers what little courage he possesses.] I'll... I'll help. I'm better at hiding than at finding people, though...

[Offering a small smile, 202 counters his nod with a patient one of her own.]
And, if hiding is what you're good at, then surely you'd be the logical choice for finding a hiding place, right? You'd be a very great help to me, given that--Do you think you could search the city for any likely places? You don't have to go anywhere that frightens you if you don't want to, I can do that-- But just knowing where to start looking would be an immense help.

Perhaps he has hidden himself away somewhere?
[He doesn't sound like he believes it himself.]

I... I suppose that's possible. But I have a hard time thinking so... It wouldn't be like him to leave his weapons behind. He doesn't go anywhere unarmed.

He was not stolen, was he?

[Her reply comes in a sterner tone than she initially intended, stressed as it is with the urgency of her belief. Clearing her throat to collect herself, 202's voice is softer when she continues.]
No, I don't believe so... When people are returned to their home worlds, their belongings return with them...

Possibly. It's a bit more difficult to find or sense people who don't actively weild their chakra, but I could try.

[She doesn't bother trying to keep the hope from her voice. Any potential lead, after all...]

[ It was said with an under-tone of sadness, which she was trying her best to conceal. But that failed, when she let out a very heavy sigh. She looked everywhere she knew and it all proved to be completely useless. ]
Do you know where he could be?
[ Her voice was shaking, but very soft, almost a whisper. ]

I don't know, but don't worry-- I'll look hard. I'll find him, miss Lili, I promise.

[ She had to do more, sitting here wasn't going to do anything. ]

[...Oh. Oh, Lili. Vash would kill her if he found out she'd let you involve yourself in any of the potentially dangerous aspects of this search. But there were other, safer things for the gentle little nation to do...]
Well, ah... Well, you could always come finish checking here in the library. Or even just staying home, in case he comes back, that could help. And you could keep trying to call him, maybe, if you don't mind--I think my hands might be too busy to keep trying that, and it might prove to be the best way to get in touch with him.
