[One could say an islander would have a better chance at remaining relatively sane and more than capable of gathering food. This, he didn't have a problem with at all. In fact, he was doing just as well. But instead of spending his time experimenting...

... There is one thing he hates more than Xehanort. It's being reminded of the goddamn Heartless that once were in the city. Now seeing dinosaurs that reeked of darkness and lacked hearts? Yes, he was rather livid, and instead of doing his hunting half the time, he was instead slicing down Heartless that preyed on his heart. This, my stalker, is why he loathes you so much. STOP MAKING HIS JOB SO DAMN DIFFICULT.]

[ LOLNEVER. TROLOLOLOLOL

If you happen across the sunlit clearing the carcasses are rotting in, you should be able to feel Vexen and his posse of Dusks looming around. And he should also know that while Vexen would have his gaze thoroughly set on Riku after spotting him, if he was around this giant pile of rotting dino chow, then Vexen would've been the one to put it there. And, despite even his monumental determination, after gathering bacteria to study and weaponize later, he wouldn't linger around something that smelled this horrendous for no reason.

And those Heartless had to get here somehow, after all. ]

[Karma will get you back, ass.

Riku follows the scent, holding his nose in pure agony. He can feel them fine, along with the scent he knows as "Marluxia" elsewhere in the jungle. The vibe of pure hatred doesn't dissipate, however, as his eyes fall on the direction of Vexen's hiding place. Yes, he his angry. And yes, he is planning on slaying every single one of them so no one falls like they did that week.

He wouldn't let what he couldn't stop from happening before claim another life again.]

[ He knows he's going to die the second he returns to Castle Oblivion, and fucking Eleven's here. That's enough karma for Vexen. :|

Oh, hey Riku, glad you saw Vexen. That doesn't mean he's coming down from the tree, though. Nor does he plan on letting you destroy the tryant Heartless as soon as they're born, if you even can. After all, if their smaller cousins are any indication, he wholly expects their power to surpass that of the Behemoth and Invisible's. ]

I suggest finding a suitable place to hide, Riku. I'm well aware of your fighting prowess; I don't need a demonstration, nor do I plan on allowing you to perish in the crossfire.

/and the second Keyblade wielder... vain_sky August 23 2011, 06:19:14 UTC
[He had been rather curious as to why he was feeling the stabbing of claws and the tearing of flesh lately, gritting his teeth behind the mask every time the negativity returned. That's when he sent little troopers and found out the hard way as he free fell out of a tree that there were beasts he rather despised in these trees. Despised with his entire being, one could say...

This is why Heartless and the lesser Nobodies aren't the only ones lingering the jungle floor and treetops. Red eyes glowing in the background, taking in the movements as their master took a Keyblade to each cunning beast he was repulsed by even more than his own weakness. Those eyes... Those completely yellow eyes...

And the hatred--the irritation--only continued to flow back to the originator, leaving him more angered and hollow than before as the Heartless fell. It's only after dismissing the Keyblade and allowing his own negativity to heal him that he follows the darkness, wishing he could hold his nose because of the crude scent. But alas~ The mask is in ( ... )

Oh hay Vanitas, here for some easy trollan? glacialis_nemo August 23 2011, 06:32:58 UTC
[ Vexen had seen fleeting sights of creatures that were as familiar as they were unidentifiable. He distinctly remembered seeing them in Radiant Gardens--Ventus had saved his charge, Izeno from them years ago, but they never discovered what they were, or their origin. And neither Vexen, nor any other among the Organization's ranks, had seen them ever again.

As he sat in these trees, as oblivious as he was uncaring of the destruction of Heartless, an overwhelming aura of darkness grabbed his attention. Not only was this darkness pure, but it was incomplete, something the scientist's refined senses was quick to pick up on along side the appearance of those creatures. He watched in cautious silence as the masked boy approached the clearing from his treetop perch.

He wondered, could this keyblade wielder tell he was here? Or his posse of egg-toting Dusks? ]

Came for the trollan, stayed for the chaos. vain_sky August 23 2011, 06:59:26 UTC
[Ah yes, Ventus. He recalled those faint flashes and had arrived on the scene just after Even and Ienzo had fled from the square. It amused him to no end how the pawns moved just. so. And with little prodding, one could say.

Fear was a great motivator, one he could use time and again as such a great catalyst. And the strange aura he had picked up from Marluxia was coming from all around this time. Now where or where could the leader of this little group be?

His head tilted upward, seeming to look completely in the wrong direction when gold irises met indirect contact with green. This presence again... One he was vaguely aware of not that long ago--one of Ansem's apprentices. What had occurred to cause this idiot to lose something so valuable?

Not that he cared, no... Merely that his activities were making it that much harder for him to rest properly at night.]

[ Vexen continued to keep a keen eye on the boy, eyes narrowed critically, analytically as he studied this boy.

He'd never seen him before, nor had he any hand in this boy's creation, but the suit he wore was similar to his Riku Replica in structure and pattern. More than that, he wielded a vicious looking keyblade, though vastly different from his Replica's. He stood still in the clearing, so without moving or speaking, Vexen summoned a new Dusk.

It seemed to crawl out between the fabric of time and space within this universe, gnarled and thorny vines of white and black lining the opening of that rip as it weaved out like a ghost. Its body stretched to prowl around Vanitas in a wide circle, contorting in an eerie manner before launching in the air, coming at the boy's helmet like a dart. ]
