[Peeking down from the tree he's crawled up with plenty of difficulty. Dogs should not be in trees. He see's Jack being mothered by a dinosaur.

Awww, not Aki-chan. but still amusing.]

Hey, it looks like she thinks you're one of her own.

[Jack blinks at that, looking around before glancing upwards.]

You sounded like someone I know, but you're clearly not him.

[He looks at the dinosaur, a smirk pulling at his lips.]

Well, at least you're lucky she decided you were one of her cubs instead of a threat. You'd probably be in a much different situation.

[He peers back at the dinosaur as well, chuckling.] I suppose you've got a point there.

[Stray giggles from atop her Struthiomimus mount at the scene presented, a small flock of velociraptors gathering around the larger dino's feet.]

Wait here, Spot and little Spots.

[Hopping down, Stray strides up to the mother hadrosaur making small noises in her throat. The dinosaur looks at her curiously, then back at Jack, and to her again.]

[Jack has managed to clamber back towards the ridge of the nest again at that point. He has no idea what the little cat girl is doing, but he watches in interest, momentarily forgetting his situation. When the hadrosaur glances towards him, he chuckles nervously.]

Eheheh...

[Stray giggles and strokes the mother dinosaur's head, kissing it gently.]

Silly thought human was baby.

[She reaches down to rub under one of the baby's chins, smiling softly.]

Knows better now. Can get out, you.

[The last part is addressed to Jack.]

[He perks at that, wasting no time to scramble out.]

[Naoki was just going about his daily little search for food/people/an exit.

Of course, once he sees a dinosaur he has to stop and watch in fascination. He follows the mother hadrosaur a little bit, curious, and slows once she gets to her nest. Of course, when he hears a familiar voice and sees a familiar flash of hair, he cranes his neck.

Then begins to chuckle, calling over,] Jack, what on earth are you doing?

Oh! Naoki! [He's in the process of getting back up on his feet, but he's all smiles, relieved to see and hear someone familiar.]

Getting adopted, apparently!

Then these would be your new brothers and sisters, huh? [Naoki's eyes flicker over the hatchlings, then fall on Jack's face, smiling.]

I suppose so! [Jack laughs, reaching over to pat one of the little ones.]

[Gilbert is out foraging. Because well, they've got to eat. Right? Right.

What he is not expecting though, is finding Jack.

In a nest.

Being mothered.

By a dinosaur.

This is Gilbert watching from the distance. And that laugh you're hearing, Jack? Does it sound familiar. Because it should be.]

[It's familiar, but it's also something of a rare sound that it takes Jack a moment to place it. A smile crosses his face, quickly displaced by a frown as he realizes the possible reason for that laughter.

He very nearly pouts as he looks around, casting a halfhearted glare around the forest.]

[Gilbert takes just a moment to make sure that mom isn't around to take him as a threat. And he walks into sight, shoulders still shaking even as he looks up towards Jack, smiling despite the glaring.] Seems I'm not the only one who thinks you need supervision, hmm?

[The earlier look vanishes completely as Gilbert reveals himself, and sighing, Jack offers a lopsided smile.]

Perhaps you two should get together then!

[He gets to his feet, dusting himself off again.] I suppose it could be worse though. I could have been someone's dinner!
