[Dil turns her head slowly to regard her new company over one shoulder, her features arranged into a calm mask of a smile.]

Blackwood, Mister Ootori. Dil Blackwood. And how kind of you to say so-- Insight is often admirable but rarely admired, I find. Most people don't like a busybody.

{{Kyouya doesn't betray any sign of surprise at her knowing his name. Instead, he nods-}} Insight is very important. Having the ability to understand the nuances of other people isn't being a busybody as much as being intelligent.

Ah, not just intelligence... Even the dim can be observant, though perhaps of different things than one might desire. It's the effort that counts, I think, just as much as the intellect.

[She pauses to eye him appraisingly, still smiling.]

Mm... Oh, Tim? Tim is... Well, being Tim. I might say "working," I might say "playing," but neither would be entirely accurate.

[Dil doesn't turn to look at her visitor, keeping her look of intrigue aimed at her active compatriot splashing around down below.]

He has a job to do, that's all.

[WELL looks like he's run into some of the people responsible for him being here. Or their underlings, at least.]

And what exactly would that be? [As much as he really wants to get information from her... He really can't help but look at those legs some more as he talks to her.]

[Those legs swing idly in the open air above the water, bare feet kicking at the breeze like a child's might.]

Tim's job? Goodness me, Mr. Gojyo, but you are blunt. How forthright of you. How direct. And yet, for somebody so purpose-minded, you're going about things rather circumlocutorily... One might think that, were you curious about Tim's job, you might ask Tim.

[Having been out by the bridge with guitar in hand, Scott stands to look up and see just what the commotion happens to be from under the bridge itself.

Catching nothing of the long-legged lady, Scott narrows his eyes at her and rests the guitar over his shoulder.]

"You're speaking as if you were talking about a clock.."

Mm, am I? I might be. Or I might be talking about a car. Or an instrument.

[The last is said with a deliberate nod to Scott's guitar, an amused smile curling at Dil's lips.]

Or anything else with functioning parts. Why would you assume a clock, Mr. Pilgrim? Does time concern you so?

[Scott begins to walk closer to her, resting his guitar against the banister of the bridge.]

"And you know who I am.."

[Scott waves a hand, directing towards the empty spot next to her.]

"Is it cool if I sit down?"
