[That whole scene just raised an eyebrow when someone's Nobody decided to see if anything useful was being posted on the network during his break. Combine that with not being sure if he should trust this person or not and that will be why Roxas decides that he'd rather not have whoever's on the other end locate him by looking at the background.

Hence why he tries being clever and sending an audio message.]

[It takes a moment, but the image comes back on at Maciel's end. He's pulled the dark dragonling to sit in his lap as he looks down at the watch.]

-not as much as we'd like, admittedly. [Naata frowns, apparently more suspicious of an audio-only response than Maciel is. He glances up at the young sorcerer as he points at the watch. Whatever he says seems to prompt Maciel to reluctantly add on:]

Ah- who is this? I guess I need to be more careful with this sort of thing- and I don't want the dragonlings getting endangered by those creatures if someone decides to send them to our house again.

[That little snippet isn't quite what he'd hoped -or rather, that assessment of what was found wasn't quite as encouraging as he'd hoped. Still, with a question like that and the stranger's willingness to continue doing all this by video feed, the blond Nobody decides that perhaps he should be willing to extend a little trust too.

[And we have visual! Maciel tilts his head at the blond on the other end, and he manages a little smile.]

[She didn't even bother turning on the video. Kind of busy taking out Heartless as it was. Multitasking at the moment, especially when keybladeless? Not exactly a good idea. But what Maciel had noted couldn't just be ignored. So, audio it was.]

[He hasn't figured out how to filter transmissions, but replying is certainly much easier.]

Ah, Xion! Thank goodness- we were worried since we hadn't heard from you for a while!

Naata and I were able to finally sense him somewhere, but we haven't been able to narrow down just where that is. The darkness is too overwhelming, it's difficult to really sort through.

The darkness still seems to be most concentrated in the forest, but it's also seemed to spread near where the cathedral is.

They hadn't spoken very much although the tidings of this mess had suddenly had them working together. She was honestly relieved, herself, to hear from him. [He can't understand why anyone wouldn't think that there would be cause for worry, so her words kind of surprise him. Still, he's glad to hear from her.]
