[Ramin actually...goes to say something, rethinks it and the communicator is left on accidentally as he leans back where he's sitting in the little back room of his music shop, instruments in need of repair visible hung up or leant against the walls. After a minute or two--]

[Hmm. Lavi notices that bit of silence on the other end, but when the question comes, he grins sheepishly.] Maybe. Then again, not like there are akuma here. And my Innocence doesn't lend itself well to sparring.

[Ramin grunts a little at that.] Wouldn't be like I'd be any good to spar with. There're those things in the park, though, aren't there? If you want to stay in practice. [...he's kind of curious about your Innocence, Lavi, okay? He halfway wants to see.]

Yeah, the monster population. I thought about that actually. It's not a bad idea, really. Or at the very least, seeing about turning some trees into firewood... the, ah, fast way. I have, yes. Half a year now. [He pauses, looking thoughtful.] Maybe a little longer than that, thinking about it.

No one has found a way out in all that time?

[He shakes his head.] People have left, but I tend to think not of their own volition. No warning, no explanation. Just like we arrived.

I've not seen you use your Innocence, I think. The Park?

No, you're not. But I know our worlds sound pretty similar, time period aside, if we've even got the same authors. But then again, either we did a really good job vanquishing the Earl in secret, or they're also very different.

[Lavi has an easy enough grin on his face, but that's no evidence of anything with him.]

Yeah, the park. [Here the grin almost turns mischievous.] Looking for a demonstration? I don't mind showing off a little.

I'm -- pretty sure that we'd not have forgotten someone like the Earl, so the chances that there are differences are high. I don't know anyone who can use Innocence and akuma only exist in stories.
