[Lavi has been doing his damndest not to let his thoughts drag him down lately. It's been... a challenge. There's no sense in stewing, right? Right. So his chin is resting on his folded arms atop his desk; he's peering at the communicator, single green eye pretty fixed on it.I feel like there's more and more faces I don't know here. I should change

[Conan hesitates. He wants to check in with Lavi, assure himself he's all right -- and there's some things that can't be discussed over the watches.]
I've not seen you use your Innocence, I think. The Park?
Reply
[Lavi has an easy enough grin on his face, but that's no evidence of anything with him.]
Yeah, the park. [Here the grin almost turns mischievous.] Looking for a demonstration? I don't mind showing off a little.

I'm -- pretty sure that we'd not have forgotten someone like the Earl, so the chances that there are differences are high. I don't know anyone who can use Innocence and akuma only exist in stories.
It's okay?
Reply
[He grins.] Yeah, of course.
Reply
Should I join you there?
Reply
[He shrugs a bit. They can talk more in person. And here he grins.] Where are you staying these days anyway? I'll swing by and we can head over together. [You're a kid, Conan.]
Reply
Ah -- I'm with Heiji-niichan and Kaito-niichan in the apartment building nearest the clinic ... It's all right, Lavi-niisan, you don't have to ...
Reply
Near the clinic. [Have a grin.] It's not really out of my way, thinking about it. [A pause.] It'll give Ramin time to get to the park too. I'll be there in a few. Meet me out front? [And Lavi's not taking no for an answer anyway. In fact, he grins, closes the communicator and heads out.
It's a bit later when he arrives at what he hopes is the right place. Now... if he were Conan, where would he be?]
Reply
[Where would Conan be? Investigating of course. He's balanced precariously on the windowsill of a nearby house, trying to see inside the yet unexplored room when Lavi arrives and he waves.]
Lavi-niisan!
Reply
There you are. [His grin turns sheepish.] Seems like a while since I've seen you in person. Guess I've kind of been a hermit lately.

A lot has happened. Also, our different lines of investigation have probably kept us busy -- am I right?
Reply
[He stretches his arms high above his head before letting them fall back to his sides.] Anyway, I've got a friend who's going to meet us at the park. Have you met Ramin?
Reply
Ramin-san -- the musician who was in a war? Only over the watches.
Reply
Yeah, that's him! Well, you'll get to meet him in person then. He's a nice enough guy. [Lavi really thinks so, despite Ramin's tendency to be... a wee bit abrasive. The redhead kind of knows the type.]
Reply
[With that personality? There's got to be some reason his friends keep him around. Conan shrugged -- they would meet soon enough.] He's curious about your Innocence too?
Reply
[A quick nod at that.] Yup. Seems to be. [He reaches a hand down to pat the small hammer at his thigh.] It's unique, after all. Innocence in general, but then, each piece is different from the others too, in the form and type it takes.
