Vash was initially drawn to the kitchen by the sounds of... well, it sounded like a fight. Poking his head around the door frame he was amused and somewhat startled to find his lover... chasing her tail. That... was not normal, but kind of adorable.

"202? What on Earth are you doing?" Vash took a step into the kitchen... and was immediately distracted by the bowl of candy. Had that always been there? Well... one couldn't hurt.

Avoiding the chocolates (he has his national pride, thank you) he picked up a deep red hard candy and popped it into his mouth rather absentmindedly as he watched the antics of 202---

Woah.

What...

Vash collapsed against the counter, blinking a few times as a strange warmth overtook him.

...He-llo, 202...

"Vash!" 202 froze mid-circle to face the nation when he spoke, her still-wagging tail forgotten entirely even as its pace increased at the sight of her beloved.

"Vash, hello! Hi!"

The full significance of his sudden collapse was lost on her as she bounded gleefully over, the change in position simply putting his head at a more convenient height to be nuzzled against adoringly.

"Hi, hello! I missed you! Hi!"

--That was unexpected. But totally not unappreciated. Vash turned to catch her lips with his own, snaking an arm around her waist.

"Hello, lover~" He stooped to nip at her neck, slipping a hand up under her shirt to rub at her back. "I missed you too..."

The nip was met with a gleeful laugh, and 02 squirmed playfully out of Vash's grip to drop into a ready stance, tail still waving eagerly behind her.

"Vash, let's play! I was ch--"

One ear swiveled a half-second before her attention was diverted briefly out the window. Birds. Birds were outside. Delicious, tempting, fun-to-chase bir--Oh wait, Vash was still right there! Oh, happy day.

"Vash, hi! Let's play. You're 'it!'"

And with no further warning beyond a delighted, parting yip, she sped from the room.

He didn't know what to make of this, exactly. She...had to have snapped, right? He stepped a bit further into the kitchen, a bemused expression on his face.

"...202?"

202 spun to face her friend, a bright smile accompanying the perked ears and wagging tail.

"Hello Kakuzu!"

Dashing over, she wrapped her arms tightly around the large man's midsection and nuzzled her cheek affectionately against his chest.

"How are you? You smell good. What have you been doing? Was it fun? What are you doing now? Can I come?"

...wait, what?

"...how much coffee have you had today, and what did Hidan put in it?"

"Coffee? I had coffee, but not a lot. I like coffee. You don't smell like coffee though." Squirming eagerly, she sniffed her way curiously along the fabric of his shirt. "You smell like Hidan. Hidan didn't give me coffee. I think those might be his candies, though. I don't even normally like candy. Don't like sweets. Those are nice though. Do you like candy? You should have a candy."
