He didn't know what to make of this, exactly. She...had to have snapped, right? He stepped a bit further into the kitchen, a bemused expression on his face.

"...202?"

202 spun to face her friend, a bright smile accompanying the perked ears and wagging tail.

"Hello Kakuzu!"

Dashing over, she wrapped her arms tightly around the large man's midsection and nuzzled her cheek affectionately against his chest.

"How are you? You smell good. What have you been doing? Was it fun? What are you doing now? Can I come?"

"Uh-"

...wait, what?

"...how much coffee have you had today, and what did Hidan put in it?"

"Coffee? I had coffee, but not a lot. I like coffee. You don't smell like coffee though." Squirming eagerly, she sniffed her way curiously along the fabric of his shirt. "You smell like Hidan. Hidan didn't give me coffee. I think those might be his candies, though. I don't even normally like candy. Don't like sweets. Those are nice though. Do you like candy? You should have a candy."

"...no, thanks." Though for some reason, he did have a bit of an urge to take one...which was odd, seeing as he wasn't much of a sweets fan, either.

A brief pout followed Kakuzu's refusal, but was replaced quickly after a small shrug with another bright smile.

"Then what do you want to do? We should play. You can play, right? Old man?"

And heedless of the wreckage littering the kitchen's floor, she jumped back from him into a drop-shouldered stance in its midst with her tail wagging furiously.

"Come on, catch me!"

"...are you sure you're alright?"

"So all right! I'm very well. I feel like somebody finally took me off my leash!"

...But in a much sunnier, more innocent way than she might normally have meant that. Rather than bloodshed, she was eager for affection and fun. Rather than war, she wanted play. It was a change, but... well, it just felt like such a welcome one...
