Book 95/100 - White Cat by Holly BlackFor some reason, Holly Black has never been a writer that appealed to me. Her Spiderwick books seemed boring and I think her association with Cassandra Clare bugs me. Book 92/100 - The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick NessI only have good things to say about this book. It was so good that I powered through it in one sitting. Ness did a fantastic job of building the world. I loved the style, the fast pace and the way the characters were written. Book 91/100 - The Giver by Lois LowryI have nothing negative to say about this book. It's perfect for younger readers (if my nephew hadn't decided that 'books are dumb' i'd be giving it to him) and as an adult, I found it enjoyable. The writing is clever, sparse and pretty powerful.
