Review of Ultraviolet.

Ultraviolet as a movie made absolutely no sense. It was a fight between humans and vampires and a virus and this and that. Still made no sense.

Loved the styling, though. From the anime hair to the random color-changing outfits to the fetishization of the medical profession, I enjoyed the visuals.

Though for a movie with a budget and plenty of design savoir faire, surely The Fifth Element remains on Mount Olympus, along with a select few. ^_^ (On the trashier end of the scale, I really otter lay my paws on a copy of Demolition Man sometime. ISTR that having some nice squeaky outfits, but that could just be my memory being terribly selective :)

I'll have to find a good quality image of the OtH poster - the thumbnail on Apple's site looked most inviting. ^_^

Ooh! I haven't missed out on A Scanner Darkly after all! Saw the trailer for that quite a while back, and supposed it must've just come and gone quietly.

I suppose I'll have to see that movie now, though I'd heard the acting was atrocious.

Can't wait for Over the Hedge. I've been a fan of the comicstrip for a couple years now. And Bruce Willis as a cartoon 'coon? I mean...who *wouldn't* want to see that?!
