Ah, yes, Vengeance on Varos. I had forgotten that I in fact had seen this one, at one of the Doctor Who marathons that I helped to put together at MIT, seemingly in my memory as only being seen on three hours' sleep or so.

How I forgot "the one where Peri becomes a bird" is beyond me.

I always liked the eppisode.

That episode did strange things to me when I was a kid... One of the many contributing influences that have made me the weirdo I am today.

I remember watching this not long after puberty started for ne. And while I had no idea at all what the plot was about. The scene where Peri becomes a bird was 'totally hot'.
