Yup, Peggy's just fine. Bored, antsy, and very worried about her home and her stuff and her old friends, but quite safe in Arkansas somewhere. Apparently the friend of the family who drove them has worked in disaster relief, smelled trouble days ago, and got them the hell out of there well before the traffic jams, thank god.
Tal is in the Florida panhandle, in a location that was at one point in the potential track (also where 5 billion hurricanes decided to hit last year). Also remember that Katrina was a biggun' of a hurricane.
I know what it's like to have a film reel of all the times in your life where you think you failed or you could have done better. Every time I'm feeling kind of down, some dark part of me whips up some popcorn and puts it on. (The worst part is that it's all re-runs.)
