Agreement with others accomplished.

Kung Fu Hustle is a lovely little film that shows the inevitable progression in a certain subgenre of a subgenre toward the acceptance of humans as cartoons. I left the theatre thinking that furries are probably 10 years off, but by then the modeling of alternate realities could be a quite interesting little ( Read more... )

Bleah. I didn't want to give you the impression we're usually sensitive about criticism, especially not interesting suggestions and constructive criticisms that "stir the pot." It was just getting a whole list of complaints at once that made me feel like we were committing our mistakes on purpose, without your friends giving us any benefit of the doubt, that made me feel kinda bad, and that was only because I was already besieged with criticism from all sides that day... :p

I'm not sure exactly sure I'm parsing your suggestion right -- do you mean, having somebody modify the wiki during a scene to narrate events as they happen? Or even having a command to modify the wiki from the MUCK? Both are intriguing -- I even suggested a "plot" command which would have done something more like the latter, but would've just provided a short abstract of the player's action. I don't understand, I didn't experience, and I'm not running the place. I'm trying to postulate potentials as I see them, but I'm limited on this ( ... )

Of course, I'd love to see a cinematic adaptation of the Spellsinger stories - the first two books would make quite a commercially viable film. Or, for that matter, the Chanur saga by C J Cherryh - plenty of action to keep the Hollywood execs happy, but still plenty of imagination for the sci-fi crowd, as with the matrix translations of the multi-brained k'n'n'n.

Maybe I just like the words Downtranslate from upspeak dialectical.

"It's written in Upper-Skolati Middle-High Breen... someone didn't want n00bs to read this."
