At first she didn't believe it.

She's been doing her very best not to give in to tears. She held Cobb's hand, stayed awake longer than she should, spoke to him in all the languages she knew, even kissed his slumbering lips, to no avail.

And then she started feeling angry, walking sometimes out the door abruptly, without saying a word to anyone of the team. That's one of those moments, in which Eames might see her standing and slowly going out the door.

She's aiming for discretion, but he's free to stop her or follow her out.
